This page is not about Yume Nikki (game), but about my own Yume Nikki. I will post any dreams I have in here. Welcome to my dream diary.
Depending on the length of the dream, they will be either in a separate page or you will be able to see them from here. The dream dates will be the ones of the day that I feel asleep in.

Dreams are a wonderfully weird thing, right? They can be so meaningful, abstract, confusing or even terrifying. We have been fascinated by dreams since the start of civilization itself.
I am sure, dreams hold the key to something very important. Once discovered, it will change our perception of ourselves, others and reality itself.

In order to bring this change forward, we need to do some research.

• 28/10/2025: Undertale..?

  This dream was something else. As the title says, it was Undertale/Deltarune themed.
  I am not the biggest fan of those games, but seems like I liked them enough to dream with it. All of the dream was from the perspective that these games use for their camera and everything looked straight out of the games.

  I was controlling the player, I am not sure if it was Frisk or Kris. I was on The Ruins, but somehow i found my way into Hotland. I saw Undyne guarding a bridge, but she didn't see me. Somehow this version of Undertale had access to spears, I had a spear and I tried to sprint at Undyne to surprise her, but she quickly blocked my attack. A struggle started and Undyne overpowered me, throwing me backwards and tjem she activated the Undertale combat screen, finished me off before I could do anything.

  Once again, I found myself in The Ruins. This time I took a different route. I eventually found the entry to a basement. There was a doorway that lead into a room that looked just like M. C. Escher's Relativity.

  

  The path was obvious, I just turned down doing a 7 movement (literally the number seven's shape). Among the walls to the character's left there was a very strange symbol. It was a torii gate with a square spiral on the center. This pattern repeated alongside the walls. I made a crude drawing for you to... enjoy?
  It was perfectly straight on my dream, ignore my horrible drawing skills. If you happen to know what that square spiral means, please tell me.

  

  Update: It turns out that the spiral's movement pattern is the exact same one as the Buddhist Diamond Realm Mandala.

  
  

  On the background, the one that looked the most like the painting, I saw multiple versions of the Deltarune Trio wandering around. They all looked the same but they were tinted with different matching colors depending on the group. Strangely enough, all of them were followed by brown reskins of Ralsei without his hat.

  Eventually, those stairs turned into a floating walkway with some corners that opened into a wider area. On that zone I saw Papirus, who didn't hesitate into attacking me with blue orbs that he threw at me. I fought back by using the spear (all of this outside of the combat screen) but he overwhelmed me and I lost.
  This time, I woke up.

  One final detail, at one point of the dream I felt like I saw either an orange fox's head or tail blended into the end of the torii's square spiral.
  If you happen to see any combination of shinto imagery with a fox, it is most likely a shrine dedicated to Inari (Kami/God). This would be the second time this year that I dream with something referring to Inari. (that dream is coming soon!)

  It depends on your point of view if you consider that dream interacting with this Kami in some way or just dreams being dreams. Whatever the case, that was interesting, huh? What's crazier is the fact that a Mandala managed to sneak into the dream, I had only seen that mandala once in a chat that I ignored, it was unremarkable, but boom now it sneaked inside my dream...
  Final thing, I only finished Undertale and Deltarune Chapter 1 and I don't have a big thing going for foxes. Things just keep adding up to the cryptic nature of dreams...



• 24/10/2025: The Intruders

  I found myself in a strange house with nonsensical geometry and some truly puzzling house planning, something that would have made M. C. Escher proud. This house's bathroom was positioned inside a large column, near the center of the ominously large living room. There was little light, but just enough to see things close to me, from my spawn point I could see that bathroom slightly to my right and a decently sized picture window that sprawled from around half of the building, turning alongside the wall in the top left corner.

  That's when I heard a loud crash, something smashed against the steel wire gates that protected the property. I sprinted to the window and I caught a glimpse of three intruders. Two of them were using some plyers to try and break the kinda useless gate's lock (the gate didn't line up with the end of the wall but with the middle of the house, leaving half of the building more vulnerable). All of the intruders were wearing color coded hoodies, one of the jailbreakers was red, the other blue and the third one was grey.
  The grey intruder was aiming at me with some sort of yellow weapon (it reminded me of something one of the PvZ engineers would use) and he shot at me around three times. The sound of the shots was excruciatingly loud, like if you slammed a heavy log against metal sheets.
  Before I could even react, my father appeared behind me and he did a space breaking push into the bathroom column. I was able to see the toilet and the floor's chessboard pattern, this column got bright the moment we took cover inside it. The gunshots kept going and the dream ended.
