Eastern Religion Webring

Welcome to the Eastern Religion Webring, your place to further deepen your cultivation of yourself. Now, don't fret if you lack a personal website, as you can browse around the members' sites and the dedicated page for Resources on Eastern Religions, as the secondary objective of this webring is to provide curated information on said page. Garbage information is more common than ever and we need to protect and nourish valuable information over trash.
Lastly, you don't need to practice the teachings in order to be allured. Any kind of interest is valid, be it philosophical, religious (ironic), touristic, academic or maybe something related to the arts or video games. Please read the rules before applying.

You can contribute to the webring by providing resources, even if you don't have a personal website. Let's improve the study of Eastern Religions together! See Resources Rules.

Webring Rules:

  • Be interested in any Eastern Religion. It's not necessary for your site to have creations related to them, but it's preferred. With Eastern Religion, I mean any of the following:

    • Buddhism
    • Shintoism
    • Taoism

Or maybe some of these, tell me when you apply.

  • Have a personal website where you can edit HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

  • The webring widget should be visible with effortless action. I recommend you put it on a dedicated space for webrings somewhere.

  • Don't be hateful. Any website with discriminatory content (differential treatment based on an individual's characteristics, be them innate or chosen), or the spread of anything with the aim to harm other people is not allowed and it will bring immediate removal from the webring.

Resources Rules:

  • Don't send resources that are low quality or hateful in nature (see right above), verify that it's something that can enrich people in some useful way before sending, the golden rule is that it follows the teachings of the religion somehow. If you send trash repeatedly I will ask you to stop, if you do it again, I will add you to spam filters.

  • Provide a brief explanation of why do you think the resource is worthwhile adding.

  • Your resource of choice should be hosted on a website and freely accessible without paywalls or untasteful advertising. Books are exempt, link to the author, official book page or the publisher's.

For the webring, add the widget before applying, it's a hard requirement.
The widget is fully customizable, just keep the links intact.
I gathered images for the commonly used symbols of the 3 religions named, feel free to use these:
